| Reception Details | On SATURDAY, February 17th at noon we will have an artist reception and awards ceremony at Lakeland in The Fine Arts Gallery. Parking that afternoon will be available in the faculty lot to the immediate right as you approach the clock tower. The awards ceremony will start promptly at noon with a reception to follow. If your students are receiving a Gold Seal, Blue Ribbon, or Cash/Scholarship Award, you and your students are expected to attend the awards ceremony in the Auditorium adjacent to The Fine Arts Gallery. Award winners will be printed on the envelope (mailing address label) of the awards letter sent home to students by the committee. Students who are receiving an award MUST be seated promptly in the front of the auditorium (in the reserved student section) at 11:45 a.m. Because seating is limited, Honorable Mention (Show) winners will not be called on stage but will receive a certificate from their teacher after the ceremony. Note: Only art instructors can take artwork at the closing of the show on SATURDAY FEB. 17th. Students should NOT take artwork from the exhibit, as instructors must inventory and sign-out all pieces with the committee after the reception. |
